First Post!!

So this is my first post; I was about to write that it was kind of daunting thinking of what to say, but to be honest that would be a lie, so I've changed my mind. I have a load of other blogs that I've started and not maintained- most with no posts at all, one with 10 posts (!) and 2 followers (!) which at present I'm counting as pretty good, although my hopes of excelling my pretty low precedents are looking reasonably good. That said, it is ten to two in the morning and I'm yawning at the prospect of writing multiple intraductory paragraphs. So I'll probably do just about three. Yeah, I'm not much of a harsh taskmaster this early on in the day.

This blog is hopefully going to be centred around things I'm interested in (ideally things which are interesting to at least three other people (I have records to beat!!)) *shudder at double bracket* , but I am also doing a hell of a lot of additional college work this summer, so I'll probably be lapsing into that at some point. In fact, I kind of already have gone into my EPQ with my title. It's about feminism in classic fairytales, and the fact that, well, there's not a lot really. Sorry, this post was actually going to go somewhere, but I'm not really sure what I was planning to link this in with. Nevermind.

So as a slight expansion on my blog summary, but still a summary of the essay that I could write about the things I like, this blog is mainly going to focus on art, fashion and literature. I love Doctor Who too but I'll keep that to another blog. Can't have myself being spread too thin now, can I?

Signing off now in case I fall asleep whilst typing. To my credit, that has only happened once, but the laptop fell of my bed and nearly got broken, so I think it will be safer if I just turn out the light now and try and catch some zs. Why the hell I used that phrase, I don't know- I genuinly do not think that I have ever typed, spoken or thought it before. I'll probably look back at this in the morning to find a load of spellling errors. Yeah, check out my predictable irony. Good night. x

PS- I have added a couple of pictures in her just because I can't stand to see a blog without them, besides, if they're semi-relevant they're sort of a continuation of the typing, aren't they? And what is the use of a blog, thought Alice, without pictures or conversations? That's another thing you should know about me, I do tend to quote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland a lot, just because it's my favourite book. I also lapse into french and german on occasion, although hoffentlich I don't think I'll do that so much when I'm writing things down (heh? heh? see what I did there?). Anyway, that picture of the typing hand is presumably supposed to show which fingers are used to press which keys. I say presumably because I couldn't be arsed to read the article. Anyway, I just wondered, if anybody actualy reads this and then continues to read it through to the end, are these the keys you use? Because I know they're not the ones I use, but I have messed up hands (I eat with my cutlery the wrong way round, for example, and I can't use a tin opener to save my life because, well, I'm not ambidextrous, I'm kind of demibidextrous. Not that that's a real term. At least I don't think it is. Basically, I do some things left handed, some things right handed, and find some things very hard to do because they don't suit either hand. hmmm.... this is like the longest bracketed aside ever. I should have just put it all in a paragraph of its own. Seriously though, good night now. Must sleep. xx)
